Before requesting a date
Tell the practice where you are travelling from and the main reason for the visit. Reception may need to clarify which assessment is appropriate and whether previous prescriptions, corneal scans, referral letters or surgical reports would be useful.
What to bring
Bring all current glasses, contact lenses, lens cases and care products, together with available prescriptions and relevant reports. Do not send sensitive documents through an unconfirmed channel.
Time and follow-up
Specialist lens work can involve diagnostic fitting, ordering, collection, handling education and review. The sequence differs between patients. The practice must confirm how much time to allow and whether more than one Cape Town visit may be needed.
Travel and accommodation
Cape Town International Airport is the main airport for the city. No accommodation or transport provider is endorsed. Ask reception for current practical guidance, then make travel arrangements only after the appointment requirements are confirmed.
Ready to take the next step?
Send reception a non-urgent enquiry or call the practice. Appointments are arranged directly with the practice.
